A Background Rooted in Compassion

Aleasha brings nearly four years of experience in the disability industry, coupled with her personal insights as a mother of two young children. Her ability to think on her feet, exhibit patience, and show compassion are key attributes she carries into her work. Having cared for family and friends throughout her life, Aleasha continues to approach her role with warmth and a deep sense of responsibility.

A Career Born from Change

Before entering the disability sector, Aleasha spent 17 years as a professional makeup artist, interacting with diverse personalities and striving to meet her clients' needs. However, the closure of the beauty industry during Covid prompted her to pivot to support work, guided by her family’s encouragement. Although initially apprehensive about adapting to participants with complex needs, Aleasha quickly realized her ability to adjust, empathize, and care deeply for others was all she needed to succeed. This profound shift in her career has allowed her to embrace her purpose of helping others feel heard, understood, and supported in achieving their goals.

Values That Guide Her Work

Aleasha has always stood up for the "underdog," advocating for those who are often overlooked or treated unfairly. She strives to empower participants and their families, helping to amplify their voices and ensure their needs are met. Her compassion and dedication motivate her daily to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those she supports.

A Memorable Bond

One of the most rewarding aspects of Aleasha’s work has been building close relationships with participants and their families, connections she continues to cherish to this day.
